Core Real-Time Data

Overview

The Core Real-Time Data is a Certified Product Point Template for Power Conversion Systems that defines the standardized, minimum set of telemetry (e.g. time series points) Bazefield recommends for real-time monitoring of all power conversion systems. These points ensure consistent data collection, improve interoperability across assets, and enable accurate reporting and analysis across your portfolio.

This point template provides a reliable baseline of real-time data expected from each Power Conversion System modeled in Bazefield. The purpose is to:

  • Ensure consistent naming and normalization of critical telemetry available on all makes and models of power conversion systems

  • Streamline configuration for SCADA or historian data ingestion

  • Support cross-site and cross-technology data normalization

The Core Real-Time Data template defines 29 standard data streams for Power Conversion Systems. A Bazefield Power Conversion System is appropriate for modelling traditional Battery Inverters, as well as single unit Battery Inverter/Container systems such as Tesla MegaPacks.

Template Definition

The Core Real-Time Data template contains standard data streams for Power Conversion System SCADA data. Details on the Point Names, Descriptions, and Types are below. The Core Real-Time Data template specifically holds all the critical “raw” data expected from all Power Conversion System SCADA systems.

Minimum Requirements: In most modern power conversion systems, there will be a significant number of points available beyond this list which are vendor or SCADA specific. This list represents the minimum, common list of critical data often available in ALL vendors and SCADA systems. Many of the points below are used directly in Bazefield core functionality, or core performance calculations.
