This page describes how to configure the Event Log widget. The general description of this widget can be found here: Event Log Widget Documentation.
This widget is intended for use in Dashboard applications and Report applications.
This widget does not rely on data sources.
Configuration
General Tab
This tab is composed of two sections:
Assets: Allows to choose the type of asset for which events will be displayed.

Filter by Event Names: Allows to restrict the list of events according to the entered criteria.

Assets
Select an asset type from the Asset type dropdown list.
Filter by Event Name
Enter filters to restrict the events the widget will display:
Model: Choose one or more models:

Template: Choose one or more templates corresponding to the selected models:

Event: Choose one or more events for the selected templates:

Advanced Tab

Advanced settings
Enable row selection: When enabled, a click on a row will update all synchronized widgets with the scope of the event. See Widget synchronizations.
Row selection offset: An offset will be applied to the start and end of the selected event period. Use the drop-down list to select the desired offset. Select "Custom" to enter a specific time period:

Possible time units are:y: Years (example value for one year: 1y)
M: Months (example value for one month: 1M)
w: Weeks (example value for one week: 1w)
d: Days (example value for one day: 1d)
h: Hours (example value for one hour: 1h)
m: Minutes (example value for one minute: 1m)
Automatically preselect first row (available only when Enable row selection is enabled): When displaying the event log for a selection of assets, the line of the first event is selected by default, which allows it to be taken into account on synchronized widgets.
Enable Row Grouping: When enabled, the possibility of grouping events by site / code is offered during the use of the widget:
When Enable Row Grouping is disabled:

When Enable Row Grouping is enabled: Group by Site / Code appears. Example result when it is enabled:

Items per page: Sets the maximum number of events that will be displayed in the event list. Choose between 10, 15, 25, 50, 100, or enter a custom number:

Show app link: If this box is checked, a link to the Event Operations application will be added above event list:

Show in Object time: If this box is checked, display the event start and end dates according to the asset's time zone.
Include date year: Depending on the switch state, adds or removes the year from the Start and End dates:

Enable description link: If this box is checked, the description is a clickable link that redirects to the corresponding app. See Attach a BI dashboard to an Event.
Time
This section allows to take into account events that are not exactly in the period selected by the user, by defining an offset before their start date and after their end date: this helps to not miss events active in the period, but started or finished outside (with a margin corresponding to the configured offsets).
Use the following drop-down lists to select the desired offsets:
Start offset
End offset
Select "Custom" to enter a specific time period.
