Schedule a Report

After configuring a report (Configure a Report), the user can set up automatic email delivery.

To do this, the user can either:

  • Go to the Schedules tab in the BI Manager and click Create new schedule, or

  • Open the drill-down view of the report from the App tab in the BI Manager, navigate to the Schedule tab, and click Create new schedule.



Schedule Configuration

A configuration page will open, allowing the user to define:

  1. The report to schedule

  2. The schedule content

  3. The recipients

  4. The schedule frequency


1. Schedule Content

  • Assets: Select one or multiple assets (depending on the report’s configuration).

  • Status:

    • Active – the schedule is enabled and emails will be sent according to the frequency settings.

    • Stopped – the schedule is paused.

  • Email title: Defines the subject line of the scheduled email.

  • Email content: Defines the body content of the scheduled email.


2. Schedule Recipients

Add one or more recipients, which can include:

  • Individual users

  • User roles

  • External email addresses


3. Schedule Frequency

The frequency options depend on the report’s time interval:

  • If “Use current report interval” is unchecked, the report will use the previous time interval.

    • Example: For a monthly report, the email will include data from the previous month.

  • If checked, the report will use the current time interval.

    • Example: For a monthly report, the email will include data from the current month.

The schedule frequency can be modified, but it cannot exceed the report’s interval.
Available frequency options include:
Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily.

Depending on the chosen frequency, different scheduling dates will be available within the product interface.

Once you’ve finished editing your schedule configuration, the newly created report schedule will appear in the Schedules tab.
