This page describes how to configure the Report Writer widget. The general description of this widget can be found here: Report Writer Widget Documentation.
This widget is intended for use in Dashboard applications and Report applications.

This tab is composed of two sections:
App Linked Data Sources: Displays all usable data in the Content section.

Content: Allows to enter and format the report, with both static elements and information from the application's data sources.

This section defines the content that will be displayed.
Both static and dynamic elements can be used:
Static: General structure and formatting of the document, misceallaneous elements such as texts, images and tables, as in many text editors.
Headings: 3 title levels can be used.
Paragraph: removes any heading formatting from the selected text, and returns to standard text.
Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, Highlight: adds or removes bold, italics, strikethrough or highlighted text, respectively.
Text alignment: aligns text left, center, right, or justifies it.
Table editing: respectively creates a table, adds / remove a column, adds / remove a row
Image insertion: adds an image, either by uploading it or by searching then selecting an already imported one. Important information about supported file formats and sizes can be accessed by hovering over the
icon.
Dynamic: all values from the choosen points, attributes, calculations and statistics. Their code is automatically inserted during configuration, and then replaced upon display by all corresponding values from the selected assets and period.
To add a point, attribute, calculation or statistic, simply click on its representation in the App Linked Data Sources section.
For example, clicking on
adds “{{datasource-name---INV_ActivePower}}“ to the content.
Advanced Tab

Two elements can be configured on this tab:
Value Decimals: number of digits after the decimal point for displayed decimal values
Show asset name:
If checked, the asset name will be added in parentheses after each value
If unchecked, only the value is displayed

Simple example with Value Decimals set to 0 and Show asset name unchecked:
