Model Manager

Introduction

Introduced in Bazefield 11.5, Model Manager is a new administrative application designed to streamline and enhance the management of product certified templates and onboarding of Core sites in Bazefield. It introduces two key views: the Certified Repository and the Production Models view. The Certified Repository serves as a centralized hub for accessing and maintaining product certified templates, ensuring consistency and compliance with Bazefield standards. The Production Models view enables users to efficiently apply and manage these templates across existing models in production environments.

One of the major benefits of Model Manager is the increased visibility and control it offers during the Core onboarding and upgrade processes. By providing granular insight into certified templates, it helps users make informed decisions, reduces onboarding time, and minimizes errors. Additionally, Model Manager simplifies the task of keeping production models aligned with the latest Bazefield standards, promoting consistency across deployments and improving overall system reliability.

Certified Repository View

Certified Repository View in Model Manager offers a centralized, intuitive interface for managing all installed and deployed Core templates. This view not only ensures consistency and compliance with Bazefield standards by allowing template deployment, but also empowers users with the ability to preview and download templates directly—making template selection and validation faster and more transparent. By providing clear visibility into certified templates, the Certified Repository simplifies onboarding and helps teams maintain high-quality, standardized models with ease.

Production Models View

Production Models View introduces a streamlined way to explore asset models and manage their associated product-certified templates. This view brings familiar preview and download options from the Certified Repository, plus the convenience of upgrading templates right inside your asset models. Inherited templates can be shown for a holistic view of the standard data model available for each asset model. Clear visual indicators show what is deployed, improving transparency across your model landscape. Tooltips provide insight into which models a template is installed on and include detailed descriptions of each template. Template Type sorting and robust filtering options make it easy to quickly locate model templates to manage as needed.

Product Certified Templates

Any template deployed from Model Manager is a Product Certified Template, indicating it is part of the Bazefield Standard. Templates may be associated with a specific asset model, or deployed to the system as a whole.
