Overview
The Inverter Manual Events event template is a Product Certified Event Template on PV Inverters in Bazefield designed to capture operational events that are not automatically detected by SCADA systems or identifiable process data, such as unplanned maintenance activities, manual disconnection or shutdowns initiated by operators, and other undocumented or ad-hoc operational interventions.
These events are manually logged by users and serve as a valuable supplement to automated alarms and data-driven event detection. While manual events are not required for Core Bazefield functionality, they play a critical role in enhancing the granularity and accuracy of downtime analysis, reporting and carveouts, as well as provide operational transparency across teams. This event template provides a set of standard event types that may be manually entered for any or multiple solar inverters. The purpose is to:
Ensure consistent naming and normalization of unplanned or manual events across all inverter makes and models
Support cross-site and cross-technology data normalization for operational transparency
Enable manual event creation to supplement automated alarms and SCADA-based event detection
