How to create a Dashboard from scratch

• Configuration:

  The creation of a dashboard is done by creating an app in the BI manager. When creating a new app, select type Dashboard

  • General configuration :

    • Name [Mandatory] : Give a name to your new dashboard

    • Description [Optional] : Give a description to your new dashboard

    • Type [Mandatory] : Select Dashboard

    • Asset Type [Mandatory] : Select an Asset Type. Each dashboard is linked to a single, specific asset type.

    • Asset Model [Optional] : Select an Asset Model. This restricts the asset filter to a specific asset model.

    • Access [Mandatory] : Choose the user roles that will have access to this dashboard.

      

    • Dashboard Filter configuration : Below access drop down, you are able to configure the asset & time picker of your dashboard.

      • Asset Filter : TO BE REDESIGNED

      • Time Filter : TO BE REDESIGNED

      • Display at first loading: TO BE REDESIGNED

  • Configuring your dashboard step by step :

    1°) Click on your newly created dashboard

    

    2°) Click on edit

    
    3°) Create your first view by typing in the “add view” text field and by pressing enter

    

           4°)  Save your newly creating view

           5°)  Add a row

6°) Click on “+” and add a widget
