Event Filtering

Overview

Event Filtering enables the searching of events that match specific criteria. Filters are cumulative, meaning they eliminate any event that does not match all of the specified criteria.

Why Use Event Filtering?

Event Filtering allows for the narrowing of events to only those that are relevant. It enables you to locate specific events that meet a set of criteria. Without any filters enabled, Event Monitoring displays every event in chronological order.

Filter Templates

Filter Templates enable the saving of the selected Filter Options, Column Selection, and refresh settings. This allows the creation of multiple filters for different purposes.

Filter Options

For an event to be matched, it must meet the criteria specified by every filter option. If a filter option is not selected, then it does not affect the results.
