Create work orders from Bazefield

Work orders can be created via the following methods:

• Manually using Event Operations UI

• Programmatically using Bazefield Services API

• Triggered by Bazefield Flow Service actions (see Automated Work Order Creation)

Data Flow

1. Create work order request is sent to Bazefield Service API (via one of the methods listed above)

   • Bazefield Services API stores a copy of the work order in it’s backend database

2. Bazefield Services API forwards a request to create the work order in the external CMMS

   • The details of this request are fully configurable to match the requirements on the external system

3. An External ID is returned to Bazefield Services

   • Bazefield internal record is updated with External ID from the CMMS

4. Created work order with External ID (and CMMS hyperlink) is reflected in the UI
