This page describes how to configure the Analytics map widget. The general description of this widget can be found here: Analytics Map Widget Documentation.

This widget is intended for use in Dashboard applications only.

This widget supports the following datasources :

Configuration

General Tab

Except for the output configuration (see description below), the general configuration is common to all widgets. Please refer to the overall description on the Widget Configurations article.

Output Configuration

The output configuration allows to choose:

  • Which asset types will display on the maps

  • Which points will display as main marker and how

  • If there will also be sub-markers displayed

  • Which points will display as sub-markers and how

Possible asset types are:

  • BoP : Substation

  • Battery : Container, DC Bus, Inverter Module, Module, Rack, Power Conversion System

  • Hydro: Hydropower Site, Hydropower Generator

  • Meteo: Weather Station

  • Solor: Solar Farm, Inverter, Soiling Group, Soiling Station

  • Wind: Wind Farm, Turbine

Asset types are displayed in Asset Types list only if a data source with this asset type is linked to the app.

  • Choose one or several asset types:


  • Click on the greyed asset type title allows you to add points from the linked data sources:

  • Clicking any item, for example , displays the configuration:

  • Marker Pattern section:

    • Main marker only: only center marker with asset icon will be displayed

    • Main marker with status and rate analytics: status and rate markers will be displayed around center marker and asset icon

    • Main marker with sectored distribution analytics (only for wind): sector distribution radial will be displayed around center marker and asset icon

  • Main marker section. Configure each element that defines the content and appearance of the main marker:

    • Data: Select the data (point, attribute or calculation) to display

    • Type : Aggregated (not editable)

    • Unit: By default, the unit is defined by the point. It can be manually set by clicking

    • Value Decimals: The number of digits to display after the decimal point

    • Use the button to apply colors according to value ranges: define a value range, a description, and a color for dark and light modes:

      Note:When the Greater Than or Equal To or Less Than field is active, you can click on one of the suggested attributes (if available) to use as a range boundary instead of entering a value manually:

Add as many value ranges as necessary. Previously defined ranges can be edited or removed using the and buttons, respectively.

Displayed result:

  • Sub-markers section

    • Rate markers: Click on and configure each element that defines the content and appearance of the rate marker:

      • Data: Select the data (point, attribute or calculation) to display

      • Type : Aggregated (cannot be modified)

      • Filled color: color representing the value of the chosen data, for light and dark theme

      • Remaining color: color representing the reference value, for light and dark theme

      • Unit: activate “Get unit from point definition” or enter a unit after clicking on

      • Value Decimals: The number of digits to display after the decimal point

      • Reference Value: define a minimum and a maximum reference value

    • Status markers: Click on and configure each element that defines the content and appearance of the status marker:

      • Status type: Health, Performance or Data Quality

      • Data: Select the data (point, attribute or calculation) to display

      • Type : Aggregated (cannot be modified)

      • Unit: activate “Get unit from point definition” or enter a unit after clicking on

      • Value Decimals: The number of digits to display after the decimal point

      • Value ranges: Allows to apply colors according to value ranges: define a value range, a description, and a color for dark and light modes.

    Add as many value ranges as necessary. It is possible to remove any previously entered range.

    • Distribution marker (for wind only): Click on and configure each sector :

      • Data: Select the data to display

      • Type : Aggregated

Advanced Tab

  • Map section

    • Map type: select the map type displayed in the map view (Road, Road flat, Terrain, Satellite)

    • Height: define the size of the map in pixel or CSS

  • Markers section

    • Marker title visible: if checked the markers will have asset title shown in the map view

    • Clustering: group markers into cluster marker when markers are close on the map
