How to Create a Data Source
Open the BI Manager Application
Navigate to the Data Source tab.

Click the Create Data Source button (top-right corner)

Select a Type from the following options:
Point – for time-series data from sensors or systems
Availability Statistics, – for uptime/availability tracking
Asset Attribute – for static or descriptive asset data

Enter a Name and select an Asset Type. (Description is optional)

Configure your datasource. For details on configuration fields, see Data sources Configurations
Click Save & Publish. To learn more about publish vs draft status, see Version control workflow
Result: Your new data source is now available under the Data Sources tab.
