# Core Real-Time Data

## Overview

The *Core Real-Time Data* is a Certified Product Point Template for [Weather Stations](/product/docs/weather-station) which defines the standardized, minimum set of telemetry (e.g. time series points) Bazefield recommends for real-time monitoring of all [weather stations](/product/docs/weather-station). These points ensure consistent data collection, improve interoperability across assets, and enable accurate reporting and analysis across your portfolio.

This point template provides a reliable baseline of real-time data expected from each [Weather Station](/product/docs/weather-station) modeled in Bazefield. The purpose is to:

- Ensure consistent naming and normalization of critical telemetry available on all makes and models of [Weather Stations](/product/docs/weather-station)
- Streamline configuration for SCADA or historian data ingestion
- Support cross-site and cross-technology data normalization

## Template Definition

The [*Core Real-Time Data*](/product/docs/core-real-time-data-2#overview) point template includes key telemetry definitions for weather related measurements. Only some points are required for standard asset performance monitoring. Details on the Point Names, Descriptions, and Types are below.
