Output Configuration

The output configuration allows to choose which points the widget will display and how they will be represented.

  • Enter the following information:

    • Data: Select the data (point, attribute or calculation) to display

    • Type (displayed after data is entered): Aggregated or Realtime

    • Chart type: Vertical bar, Line, Scatter

    • Color: Used to choose a custom color (for light and dark modes)

    • Unit: If necessary, choose the unit that will be displayed; by default, the unit of the point is used. The  button allows to enter a custom unit. Note: this does not convert from one unit to another; the displayed value remains unchanged.

    • Value Decimals: number of digits to show after the decimal point

    • Min value (integer): If this field is entered, the minimum considered (for both values and graph scale) is the one entered. This can help eliminate outliers. Note: Any asset with a value below the defined Min value will not be displayed on the chart.

    • Max value (integer): If this field is entered, the maximum considered (for both values and graph scale) is the one entered. This can help eliminate outliers. Note: Any asset with a value above the defined Max value will not be displayed on the chart.

    • Show average indicator: If the box is checked, a line will be added to the graph, showing the average of the values

    • Average indicator color (only displayed if Show average indicator is checked): Allows to select the color of the line representing the average, using a color picker

  • After a point is added to the chart, it is possible to edit ( button) or remove it ( button)

  • Chart title: Adds the entered title on the graph.
Example with "Comparison of inverter performance":

  • Show separate y-axis for each series: Adds a specific y axis, with point name and unit, for each displayed point.
Example for a configuration with 2 points (ActivePower, ApparentPower):

  • Stack series with same units: Stacks points sharing the same unit onto a single bar (only works for a Vertical bar chart).

Example for 2 points with kW as unit:

  • Automatically preselect first asset: Only works when used with an XY Plot widget, for which Synchronize with Asset Metric Chart selection is enabled. Clicking on a value in the Asset Metric Chart, this asset is used in the XY Plot display. See Widget synchronizations.

Example: After clicking on the INV11 value in the Asset Metrics chart, the XY plot is updated like this:

  • Include site name in legends: adds the site name in front of each asset in the chart legend

  • Enable navigator: Adds a navigator allowing to zoom in on a part of the graph.
