# Inverter Planned Events

## Overview

The *Inverter Planned Events* [event template](/product/docs/event-templates) is a Certified Product Event Template for [Inverters](/product/docs/inverter) that defines standard expected [events](/product/docs/events) that occur during inverter operation, which can be planned for, including maintenance and inspection. This template allows for automatic event creation, and contributes to accurate performance and availability analyses across your portfolio. Inverter Planned Events are not required for Core Bazefield functionality, but can be useful for more detailed carveouts and reports.

This event template provides a set of standard maintenance and inspection events that may be planned in advance for any single inverter or multiple inverters. The purpose is to:

- Ensure consistent naming and normalization of planned events on all makes and models of [inverters](/product/docs/inverter)
- Support cross-site and cross-technology data normalization
- Allow for automatic Event creation with use in the [Availability Planner](/product/docs/availability-planner).

## Template Definition

The Turbine Planned Events event template contains standard alarms for planned maintenance and testing events. Details on the Event Codes, Names, Descriptions, Types, and Remarks are below.
