# HTML Composer Widget
## **Introduction**
### **Description**
The **HTML Composer** widget allows users to embed custom HTML content directly into dashboards or reports within the BI App. This widget is ideal for enhancing visual storytelling by incorporating formatted text, images, and static interactive elements. It supports HTML and CSS but does **not** support JavaScript for security and performance reasons.
### **Purpose**
The HTML Composer widget is designed to provide flexibility in presenting contextual information, branding, or visual enhancements alongside data visualizations. It enables users to create rich, informative layouts that improve the interpretability and engagement of renewable energy performance dashboards and reports.
### **Target Audience**
- **Business Analysts** in renewable energy companies seeking to annotate dashboards with insights or operational notes.
- **Plant Managers** who want to display custom messages, alerts, or branding on dashboards.
- **Technical Solutions Architects** integrating visual elements into BI reports for stakeholders.
- **Operations Teams** needing to highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) or maintenance schedules.
