# HTML Composer

This page describes how to configure the *HTML Composer* widget. The general description of this widget can be found here: [HTML Composer Widget Documentation](https://docs.bazefield.com/shared/870874ce-ad4d-4bb0-927d-1d08f704f2b1).

This widget is intended for use in [Dashboard applications](/product/docs/create-dashboard-application-1) and [Report applications](/product/docs/create-report-application-1).

This widget does not support any data sources, as it is only intended for static content.

## Configuration

Two elements are configurable:

- *Title*: The title of the widget (only visible on the configuration screen)
- *Template*: The HTML content that will be displayed. Any HTML element (including images) can be inserted.

> This content will be inserted into a <div> element of a pre-created HTML document, therefore no <html>, <head> or <body> tags need to be declared.
