# Core Real-Time Data

## Overview

The *Core Real-Time Data* is a Certified Product Point Template for Solar Farms defines the standardized, minimum set of telemetry (e.g. time series points) Bazefield recommends for real-time monitoring of all [solar farms](/product/docs/solar-farm). These points ensure consistent data collection, improve interoperability across assets, and enable accurate reporting and analysis across your portfolio.

This point template provides a reliable baseline of data at the site level aggregated from both the [PV Inverter](/product/docs/inverter) and Meters modeled in Bazefield. The purpose is to:

- Ensure consistent naming and normalization of critical telemetry available on all makes and models of [inverters](/product/docs/inverter) on different [solar farms](/product/docs/solar-farm)
- Support cross-site and cross-technology data normalization

## Template Definition

The Core Real-Time Data template contains solar farm level calculations summarizing Inverter and Meter SCADA values. Details on the Point Names, Descriptions, and Types are below.
