These points ensure consistent data collection, improve interoperability across assets, and enable accurate reporting and analysis across your portfolio. This point template provides a reliable baseline of real-time data expected from each [Met Tower](/product/docs/met-tower) modeled in Bazefield. The purpose is to: - Ensure consistent naming and normalization of critical telemetry available on all makes and models of [Met Masts](/product/docs/met-tower) - Streamline configuration for SCADA or historian data ingestion - Support cross-site and cross-technology data normalization ### Template Definition The [*Core Real-Time Data*](/product/docs/core-real-time-data-met-mast#overview) point template includes telemetry definitions for weather related measurements. The template as a whole is not required as baseline environmental measurements are often available directly on [Wind Turbines](/product/docs/wind-turbine), but it can be useful for values representative of an entire farm, as well as provide additional measurements that can be used for more advanced analyses. Details on the Point Names, Descriptions, and Types are below. Required for Bazefield Core Dashboard functionality Optional for common additional data streams/sources | Name | Description | Type | | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | AmbientTemperature | Ambient Temp (C) (XXm sensor) | SCADA (raw) | | | CommunicationState | Communication state tag to determine stale data, using WindSpeed tags | SCADA (raw) | | | FullPerformance | If IEC-Operation state is 4 (running) then full performance =1, if IEC Operation State is 99 (unknown), then 0 | SCADA (raw) | | | IEC-OperationState | Calculation to determine operating state. If good communication (non-stale wind speed data) then 4 (running), if bad communication then 99 unknown | SCADA (raw) | | | Precipitation | Precipitation (mm) (XXm sensor) | SCADA (raw) | | | Pressure | Pressure (mbar) (XXm sensor) | SCADA (raw) | | | RelativeHumidity | Relative Humidity (%) (XXm sensor) | SCADA (raw) | | | WindDirection | Primary Wind Direction- at hub height of WTGs (XXm) | SCADA (raw) | | | WindDirection2 | Secondary Wind Direction (XXm - Lower than hub height Wind Direction) | SCADA (raw) | | | WindDirection3 | Tertiary Wind Direction (XXm - Lower than Wind Direction 2) | SCADA (raw) | | | WindDirection4 | Fourth Wind Direction (XXm - Lower than Wind Direction 3) | SCADA (raw) | | | WindSpeed | Primary Wind Speed- at hub height of WTGs (XXm) | SCADA (raw) | | | WindSpeed2 | Secondary Wind Speed (XXm - Lower than hub height Wind Speed) | SCADA (raw) | | | WindSpeed3 | Tertiary Wind Speed (XXm - Lower than Wind Speed 2) | SCADA (raw) | | | WindSpeed4 | Fourth Wind Speed (XXm - Lower than Wind Speed 3) | SCADA (raw) | |
